So, late 2024 was basically Christmas for me—I finally got my hands on my custom modular controller, and let me tell you… I was hooked from day one.
This thing is like LEGO for gamers. Snap it together, pull it apart, rebuild it a dozen different ways—it’s plug-and-play magic. I probably spent more time rebuilding it than actually gaming for the first few weeks. It’s addictive, in the best way.
Now, I won’t lie—Bluetooth gave me a bit of grief in the beginning. But to their credit, the support team was super helpful and responsive. Definitely didn’t leave me hanging.
The Pros:
Flexibility:
Build it your way. Seriously—shape it to fit your hands, your style, your needs. No two setups have to look the same.
3D-Printed Parts:
I started printing my own attachments to make things even more customized. These little additions made gameplay way more accessible and comfortable for me.
The Cons:
Assembly Isn’t Exactly One-Handed Friendly:
You need a solid grip and some finesse to snap the blocks together. I’ve broken more parts than I’d like to admit trying to assemble and reassemble my setups. (Pro tip: patience… and maybe a few spare cubes.)
My Current Setup:
Right now, I keep it simple:
Just two blocks—a power cube and the left stick module. I use the index finger of my left hand to nudge the stick and move my character around. Meanwhile, my right hand stays on my trusty MMO-style mouse loaded with buttons. I map pretty much everything there—abilities, menus, jump, powers, anything I can map to a macro or button press.
It’s not traditional, but it works, and that’s the beauty of adaptive gaming—you make it work for you.
